Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator contains a number of features to detect and limit potential abuse of the platform.

Fraud Detection

If you are using the inbuilt signup system in Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator then a number of automated checks can be enabled when users sign up.

AVS

Subject to support by your merchant provider (and only available when processing credit cards), AVS can automatically check the registered address of a card being used on the platform against the address specified by the user, and deny it being added if it doesn't match.

GEO IP

Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator can automatically detect if a user signs up from an IP address that is in a different country than claimed by the user. If a signup is matched in this way, it is automatically placed in a 'awaiting verification state', and the user notified that their account is pending verification. This can then be approved or rejected via the Admin page.

Usage limits

As well as fraud detection, Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator also has measures to enable limiting of use to prevent abuse.

Limits can be set on a per Billing Entity or per Customer Basis on the amount of credit they can charge to their credit card(s) in a particular month. These limits can be different if the card has been 3DS verified or not.
