To create a customer:

  1. Show the Admin page by clicking the Admin link in the page navigation menu. 


     
  2. Click on the Customers tab. 


     
  3. On the Customers widget, click the Create button. 

    The Create Customer dialog is displayed.


     
  4. Specify the settings for the customer:
    • Billing Entity - The billing entity for which to create the customer. This option is only available to the master billing entity.
    • Clone From - If required, select an existing customer to clone the settings from.
    • Organisation Name - The name of the customer.
    • Address - The address of the customer.
    • Country - The country of the customer.
    • VAT Number - The tax or VAT number of the customer.
    • Account Status - Whether the customer's account is active or inactive.
       
  5. Specify the following settings for the customer's first user:
    • First Name.
    • Last Name.
    • Telephone.
    • Mobile.
    • Fax.
    • Email / username.
    • New Password.
    • Confirm Password.
       
  6. If required, assign a customer product offer to the customer using the Product drop down. This type of product offer is typically used to charge a fixed rate per billing method for access to a fixed quantity of IaaS resources.
     
  7. Once these fields have been filled out appropriately, click the  button to create the customer.
