Info: UUIDs and ID's in use in the XVPAdmin interface do not map to UUIDs from the User or Admin User Interfaces as they are separate systems.
The XVP Cluster Tab shows a list of Clusters that have been configured to be used in the platform. The following information is displayed:
- IP Address/Port (for the Cluster Manager )
- Name
- UUID
- Hypervisor
Adding a Cluster
At this point you will have already configured a second cluster and have it's services up and running.
You will be asked to fill out the following information:
- Cluster Name
- IP Address
- Port
- Username
- Password
- VLAN Start Inner Tag
- VLAN End Inner Tag
- VLAN Start Outer Tag
- VLAN End Outer Tag
- VLAN Restricted Inner Tags
- VLAN Restricted Outer Tags
- VLAN QinQ Mode Setting
Managing a Cluster
At any point you can modify the details of the cluster configuration by clicking on the link against each cluster. This brings up a series of sub tabs
Details
The Details tab contains most of the information about the cluster, and has the following fields
- Cluster Name
- Cluster ID (non editable)
- Cluster UUID (non editable)
- Hypervisor (non editable)
- IP Address
- Port
- Username
- Password
- VLAN Start Inner Tag
- VLAN End Inner Tag
- VLAN Start Outer Tag
- VLAN End Outer Tag
- VLAN Restricted Inner Tags
- VLAN Restricted Outer Tags
- VLAN QinQ Mode Setting
- Cloning Features (non editable)
- Networking Features (non editable)
- Snapshotting Features (non editable)
From here you can update any of the editable fields by clicking 'update cluster'
Nodes
The nodes tab will go a list of Nodes in that cluster, please see XVP Nodes Tab for more information
System Keys
The system keys tab will show a list of system keys that are setup for that particular cluster, these are used in managing our workload placement system Affinity.
Add Key
From this tab you can add additional Keys for the workload placement system.
Delete
From this tab you can delete a cluster.
This is not reversible, and if the cluster has active resources running on it, will leave it in an unmanageable and inconsistent state
